Apple Annie's 2009

Tuesday, we made the 3 hour drive (2.5 if Trent is behind the wheel) to Willcox to visit Apple Annie's pumpkin patch and apple orchards. If you recall, last years trip was quite an adventure, but one of my favorite memories with my sister. Since Tuesday was our anniversary, I talked Trent into taking the day off and coming with us to find this year's perfect pumpkin. We met up with our Blake cousins and had a lovely afternoon. Then we stopped at Eegee's in Tucson for grinders and a black raspberry slushie. We came home with four full bellies, three sets of sunburned cheeks, two pumpkins, one fresh apple pie, and a very happy family.

Trent decided he wanted the biggest pumpkin in the entire patch. Not kidding. Brooke liked this one so he gave in, even though it was smaller than he would have liked. Should I expect him to cave in to her wishes for the rest of her life? I thought so.
Ty lost his seat to accommodate the pumpkin of choice.

What a ham!
