Today was Trent's White Coat Ceremony. It was a rite of passage for all of the medical students heading into their second year of studies. Since he starts his rotations in a few months, he was presented with the symbolic white coat that represents health care professionals. The ceremony was on the main lawn of the campus, and it was such a beautiful day. He looks very distinguished in his coat! We are just excited because once they give you the white coat, they think you're good enough to finish the program and succeed! My mom and dad took us to dinner to celebrate the milestone. It was a great day! Only 20 months left of school!
P.S. Note that the jean jacket isn't maternity wear. Reminds me of Tommy Boy...fat girl in a little coat!

How exciting! I remember when Trevor had his last year. Did you know that both our husbands go to Midwestern?!!! Trevor is in the Podiatry program.
Wow, that's more than a little frightening to picture Trent with all that power! Good Job Trent.
